GMCSF To Sing at the National LGBTQ Task Force Gala: Be You Ball
The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida is honored to be part of history as we perform at the first-ever Be You Ball on National Coming Out Day, October 11, 2025, at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. Hosted by the National LGBTQ Task Force, this reimagined gala builds on decades of tradition while shining a brighter light on queer joy, power, and resilience.
This year’s event will feature legendary actress and advocate Dominique Jackson as host and celebrate The Our Fund Foundation‘s CEO, David Jobin, as the local honoree. Both bring inspiration and leadership to an evening designed to uplift our community while fueling advocacy for equality.
Our very own Tropical Wave vocal ensemble will bring music to the celebration with an exceptional performance crafted to capture the spirit of authenticity and pride. By adding our voices to the program, we hope to remind everyone that music is more than entertainment. It is a way to unite, to honor, and to celebrate our shared humanity.
We are proud to stand with the Task Force and the South Florida LGBTQ+ community on this night of celebration and purpose. Join us in marking National Coming Out Day at the Be You Ball, where we will sing for resilience, pride, and joy.
Tickets and information can be found on the Task Force Gala‘s website.
